Welcome to a demonstration of how to make a Christmas Card.
Step 1
Materials for this project are:
Cutting mat (Optional)
Glue pen
Scissors
Double sided sticking tape
Gold Glitter
Gold Card
Spare cream Card
Cream tall card (105mm x 210mm)
Glue Dots magic Motifs Christmas tree.
.3D foam pads.
Paper trimmer.
Step 2
Cut the desired tree from your Glue Dots pack. Peel the
clear plastic away from the backing and place on some cream spare card.
Press your finger over the Christmas tree, until the glue has
transferred onto the card. Peel the plastic away and discard.
Step 3
Carefully sprinkle the gold glitter all over
the tree until it is completely covered. Shake off the excess onto a
spare piece of paper and return to your glitter pot. Tap the back of
your Tree to back sure all excess glitter is removed.
Step 4
Measure your spare card against your actual card. Trim
the spare card so you have a width of 4.5cm and length of 19cm.
Step 5
Using your glue pen cover the entire length of spare
card in swirls and dots, (like fancy S's) Cover it all with gold
glitter. (Step 3)
Step 6
Mount your glittery swirls onto the gold card. If you
line it up like the picture you will only have 2 edges to cut and get
straight.
Step 7
Do the same with the tree, so you have a small gold
border around the swirls and the glittery tree.
Tape the tree and the
swirls with double sided tape.
Step 8
Line the swirls up against the edge of the card, making
sure you have the same edge at the top and bottom. Remove the backing
and stick to the card.
Place the tree so it is slightly overlapping the swirls, near to the
top of the card, as shown in the picture.
