Cut a square piece of Mulberry paper, roughly the same
size as the card.
Place a square Perspex template, 1 -11/2cm smaller
than the mulberry paper, on top, to use as a guide. (If you don't have a
template than make one from very stiff card or carefully use a ruler and
do one edge at a time).
Take a small brush and dampen round the edge of the
mulberry paper that is showing from the template.
Using a sharp pointed tool (I call it a prongy thing!)
pull the mulberry paper away from the template, leaving a ragged edge.
(A cocktail stick could be used or a darning needle)
Once dried, glue the mulberry paper to the middle of
your card and cut a 8cm x 8cm square of red velvet paper and glue on top
of the mulberry paper.
Cut a 7cm x 7cm piece of white card and pad with sticky
fixers which give the card a 3D look. Place on top of the red velvet
paper.
